and about the titles -- there's too much grinding as it is. If anything they should make it EASIER to level up your titles.

Agreed. That's like "Please beat us!" or, "We have way tooo much power, plz take it away!"
IMHO, let's wait until the full-version's out before asking them to change things. (except maybe the HoM)

The first one I have is no more than two of the same henchman. Seeing people with three searing flames eles, them being a searing flame ele, and taking Cynn seems to be FAR too overpowered to me.
Another thing that is overpowered is the innate advantages titles grant. The Norm title should give 1 to 5 extra health per rank, not start at 60. Starting at 60 means you can add a second sup rune to your armor.
Finally the norm title track is far too fast to get points in. Two days I hit rank 4 without even trying. Got rank 2 in the dwarf one through just casual play as play well. The number per rank should at least be increased 5 fold so they mean something.

NO nerfs! good grief is that all anybody wants? There wasn't anything to hard to take down with a litte planning! So my paper dolls should be more squishy then they already are LOL sheesh

WOW and OMG !!!!! STFUAD!! How about this...lets never have another nerf of any kind, get a closed deck for PvP so they don't mess up our skills, and remove loot scaling so I can make some money too while we are at it.

There is no need to nerf pve skills. There is no meaning into balancing pve as the pve in already "unbalanced". I mean if you cannot kill a team, you just rezone, change your build, and go on smashing heads. The pvp is a way different and the pve skills are lovely. 15 energy for "finish him" is a way too much, think about warriors like me that uses that skill. I just made a pve build for my warrior, something that rocks using that skill, never had so much fun pwning jotuns with finish him. Pve skills doesn't need to be nerfed, rly. Titles are not too simple to gain, they are nice as they are as they are linked to pve skills and we don't won't another "kurzick-luxon" title that takes ages to grow up and power up the skills. or you want?

... Did either of you even bother to read whats been written in this thread? This thread is a PvE whinefest. PvP players could give 2 shits less about how broken PvE only skills are or could give 2 shits less about PvE title tracks. As soon as you see anything that you disagree with, ZOMG IT MUST BE DA PVP PLAYRZ.. Honestly use your head before you post next time...

Hmm...I don't get it. If you think a PvE skill is overpowered, then why are you using it? ANet told us that NM would be getting easier, but also that the rewards would decrease in NM. So let NM be easier with lower rewards. Why nerf? They can make HM as hard as they want. Don't nerf skills just because someone thinks NM is too easy. Just keep making HM harder if something seems imbalanced.
REITERATED: If you have a moral dilemme with using a skill that makes you too strong, DON'T USE IT. Someone else may not be as game-savvy as you and may need that extra boost. You go play HM. And if you want a real challenge: take heal sig, frenzy, and mending as your only skills.

So true. So true.
I agree with just about every other poster with a brain who has posted in this thread - nerfs are not needed. There is no balance with bots at level 28 and half cast times. The rest of you, stop being drama queens and go back and read magazine articles in just about every computer games publication in the world - they said PvE skills would be powerful. So, lrn2read, kay? You'd have to live under a rock to miss it!
These are PvE only skills - say it with me - ANet has already made it clear that they would be powerful, that is why they unhooked them from PvP.
Get the flippin memo, people. They are meant to be powerful. Repeat after me, k? Poooooooweeeerfuuuuuuuuuuuul. Live it. Love it. Use it. We have nailed the coffin on a lich, some beyond the grave assassin guy, and then a freakin deity. I think we deserve some uber-powerful skills, mmmmkay?
If you value a harder game experience, then don't use them. Win/win situation.
Thanks!

pve skills dont need nerfs. I agree. If you want a challenge dont use them, go with smaller party sizes, etc. The pve skills allow more variety in the game and more options on your skill bar. Dungeon gettin boring with one build, well now you have an option of changing the build to something different and having fun again. If you want the skills nerfed so you can brag on how good your player skills are, well then , you should be concentrating on pvp. pve is about the player having fun, not about 1 player being better than another. And having fun in pve is about having options on how you want to play.

Please, no nerfs already...at least give the full game a chance first to see how it all pans out.
Far to soon to be changing everything, though as an observation, certain elements of the preview really did seem to favour some professions over others and i think there were too many solo elements to it (i prefer parties).

In my opinion (note keyword "opinion"), none of the PvE skills should be so good that it becomes stapled to the skill bar. Currently, "Finish Him!" is one such skill. Dwarven Stability is possibly anoher. Call me old fashioned, but I like my games to have just a little bit of challenge.
By the way, the if-you-don't-like-it-don't-use-it retort is exceptionally silly. Why, besides masochism, would one intentionally not want to play in the most effective manner?

Alright, so the Norn bonus "Heart of the Norn" is only available in Norn explorable areas. How then, did I have it in my GH, Frost Gate, and Thunderhead Keep, among other places?

Because not all people want always to play most effective manner, after mastering game they try to do challenges like... Don't use healing skills (I mean games like Final Fantasy vii).

you played a beta and you want a nerf.....
the game is granda as it is, maybe wrong but seems to me that you maybe havea prob getting in parties and thus trying to get rid of a specific number of profs in a party.
take 5 eles sf with 2/3 monks or somthing and go into HM for a bit, see how muhc you cna do.
55 monks are pretty much unkillable unless theres an enchant removel involved, want ot get rid of that too?
wait till you completed eotn before you want to see changes, i wouldnt change a thing from the preview besides the hall
